The #16DaysForYouth campaign has put the spotlight on the circumstances of the poor in the Western Cape. People from all over the Province have truly shown their compassion, donating food, and improving the lives of the less fortunate. Day 11 of the journey saw volunteers, Heart FM teams, along with Aunty Magda from Paarl Рgiving out loaves of  bread, and cereal to the youth from the Imi Zamo Yethu informal settlement in Hout Bay. We teamed up with Kusela Ikhaya who brought fire retardant paint for the shacks. Kusela IKhaya also brought food for a local early childhood development centre in the informal settlement. Local comedians, Kurt Schoonrad, Stuart Taylor and Nick Rabinowitz also got their hands dirty with residents of Hout Bay joining in to paint over 50 to ensure the safety of residents living there.
