On the second last day of 16 days for youth we went to the town of Atlantis, and visited Wesfleur Primary School. Our good friends at Baskin- Robbins handed out free ice creams to the children at the primary school and children from the community who came to pop in. Peninsula Beverages brought their mobile coke stage, where pupils performed, and St John ambulance services gave a basic life support lesson. FibreTek sponsored the school with soccer poles, SANZAF fed more than 1700 pupils at the school and gave them party packs with luxuries, Playsport For Life joined on the day as well as the Cobra’s cricket team and coach Ashwell Prince played with the kids on the field. Muller’s Dental was at the school and checked the learners’ mouths, and brought toothbrushes and toothpaste. The community came out in the numbers to support Heart FM and meet the presenters.

This morning young Aubrey Meyer told us about his quest to get to Pretoria to get new blades fitted. HeartBreakfast sponsored his flights and accomodation to get him there safely

We met so many amazing people while in Atlantis. Like Julian and Maylan fell, who are both giving back to their community and want to encourage the youth to make the most of every opportunity.
